My first attempt to paint on pine…did not sand or prime – next one is already sanded and primed so should be better.
I took this picture in South Africa in Aug. 2012 and painted it when I got home. I painted it free hand, before I learned about drawing on the canvas before painting.
I save my own seeds and am painting envelopes to give them as gifts to other gardeners.
I took this picture in South Africa 2012 these flowers were everywhere, I really like the sky in this picture. This was my first painting after learning that to give dimension, to paint the furthest thing from you first.
