This flower painting was or is part of my dead flower series but is still a bit alive. Just drying up……just about done with this one…..

After so much obsession with this sunflower painting, I am taking this off my easel. Just to hang in my studio and keep looking at it and maybe pick it up again later. This is my second painting that I painted from 5 different reference photo‘s of sunflowers I took in my yard. I am thinking of calling it “Wild sunflower field” because these flowers seem to have a wild personality to me. Just a couple pictures….
I am so excited to have done an interview for Work your Art, I am looking forward to reading it once it is published. I will be a featured artist for a short time, and there will be a picture of me and some of my art included with the interview questions.
I always knew I should be an artist and now know that all the media exposure I received through my business and books was just practice for this. I am so excited about my new art life.
